Teaser Trailer for Steamboat Willie Horror Movie coming!
So, the team behind the Terrifier movies is releasing this horror film called Stream on August 21, and get this—they’re also dropping the first teaser for another movie, Screamboat, right before it in theaters from the 21st to the 25th.
Okay, Screamboat sounds wild. It’s like a twisted version of Steamboat Willie, but instead of being cute, the mouse is, like, a total psycho. David Howard Thornton, the guy who plays Art the Clown in Terrifier, is the lead in this one too, so you know it’s going to be creepy as hell.
The whole thing is directed by Steven LaMorte, and it’s set on this late-night ferry in New York. These poor people are just trying to get home when this murderous mouse shows up and starts taking them out one by one. What starts as a normal commute turns into this insane fight for survival.
Oh, and the effects are supposed to be crazy good—like, they’re using a mix of practical effects, miniatures, and high-tech stuff to make this mouse look both terrifying and kind of whimsical. I’m so curious to see how they pull it off.
The cast is stacked too. Besides Thornton, they’ve got Allison Pittel, Amy Schumacher, Jesse Posey, and even some horror vets like Jarlath Conroy from Day of the Dead and Charles Edwin Powell from The Exorcist III. It’s like they’ve pulled together this awesome mix of fresh faces and old-school horror legends.
And get this—the film’s set to come out in 2025, but for now, we’ll just get a taste of it with this teaser in theaters. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be nuts.
Oh, and Stream sounds pretty intense, too. It’s about this family who just wanted to get closer but ends up in some deadly game in their hotel, with four killers trying to outdo each other with the most creative kills. Sounds like it’ll be a wild ride!
